Jersey College will be presenting a poster at the National League for Nursing’s 2019 NLN Education Summit: North Star: Purpose, Power & Passion, September 26-28 at National Harbor’s Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center just south of Washington, D.C. The NLN Education Summit poster presentations provide Nurse Educators the opportunity to share cutting edge advances and best practices about their topic.

“In the pursuit of Academic Excellence, one way Jersey College stays innovative and current with our curriculum is by being connected with organizations like the NLN who support collaboration and sharing of best practices in nursing education” shared Jersey College’s Provost, Colette Gargiulo, MSN-Ed, RN.

Jersey College’s Provost and Director of Instructional Excellence will be presenting “Innovations in Faculty Development: Enhancing the First Year Faculty Experience” at this year’s Summit to share techniques the college uses to enhance the on-boarding process for new faculty.

“Presenting at conferences such as the NLN Summit, promotes collaboration and dissemination of best-practices in nursing education that can be used to support student success!” shared Jersey College’s Director of Instructional Excellence, Melissa Popovich, DNP, RN, AHN-BC, CNE.

Jersey College takes PRIDE in offering aspiring nurses well-rounded faculty and instructors to support their journey in nursing education with excellence.
