Jersey College hosts Career Fairs each year. These events are a perfect opportunity for students and graduates to advance their nursing careers and for employers in the community to meet the healthcare industry's rising stars.

Things to consider:
- Wear professional attire - How you present yourself is important. Wear the clothes you would wear to a job interview or your school uniform.
- Introduce yourself - you may want to prepare an "elevator pitch" that quickly explains your goals, what you bring to the table, and how you can help the team.
- Bring an updated resume - Be sure sure to bring copies of your resume and/or business cards to leave with the employers you meet. Contact your Career Services Advisor for additional assistance.
- Ask questions - Review the list of attendees in advance and come prepared to ask thoughtful questions about the employer, the work environment, the roles they are looking to fill, etc.
