Since first launching in 2024, Jersey College's affiliation with Flowers Hospital has prepared nursing students with the opportunity for a hands-on nursing school experience. 

The hospital-affiliated program offers students the ability to learn the art and science of nursing while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals at Flowers Hospital. This experience prepares students to care for the south Alabama, southwest Georgia and northwest Florida community in entry-level nursing positions.

Flowers Hospital is a 235-bed healthcare facility offering a place of healing, caring and connection for patients and families. Services include inpatient, outpatient, medical, surgical, diagnostic and emergency care for our Dothan community.

The Flowers Hospital health system serves Houston County and the surrounding communities with safe, quality care. The medical center serves hundreds of thousands of patients per year, and they offer a range of classes and programs to help patients and their families lead healthier, happier lives.

In 2024, Flowers Hospital expanded their internal surgical technician training program to accommodate more students.
