Jersey College Dothan Nursing Students Attend 22nd Annual Health and Wellness Workshop

The Jersey College Dothan Campus recently participated in the 22nd Annual Health and Wellness Workshop at the Dothan Civic Center presented by Dothan Leisure Services, joining local organizations and community members for a day focused on health, wellness, and education.

The event provided Jersey College nursing students with an opportunity to connect with the Dothan community while putting their nursing knowledge and skills into practice. Throughout the workshop, students offered blood pressure screenings to attendees, helping promote awareness of an important aspect of cardiovascular health.

The Jersey College team also shared information about our Flowers Hospital collaboration, nursing programs and connected with individuals interested in learning more about pursuing a career in nursing.

Community events like the Health and Wellness Workshop provide meaningful opportunities for nursing students to engage with the public, practice important clinical skills, and contribute to health education and awareness within their community.
