From Classroom to Crisis Response: Students Put Skills into Action
At Jersey College, learning goes beyond the classroom.
Recently, some of our nursing students partnered with the Lutheran Air and Ground team to participate in a simulated small-aircraft crash response exercise. Students stepped into a realistic emergency scenario, working alongside healthcare and emergency response professionals to assess patients, prioritize care, and put their clinical skills into action.
Experiences like these give students valuable hands-on training while building the confidence and critical thinking skills needed for a successful nursing career.
From the classroom to real-world simulations, Jersey College students are preparing to make a difference when it matters most.
