Our accreditations and licenses indicate a standard of quality and a commitment to the students and communities in which Jersey College's nursing schools are located.  The faculty, course structure, class composition, clinical experience, and overall rigor of Jersey College continue to improve as we assess and challenge our staff and students to ensure the nursing education at Jersey College is an innovative and relevant experience for future nursing professionals.

New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education is responsible for the “coordination, planning, policy development, and advocacy for New Jersey’s higher education system”. As the main regulatory body overseeing New Jersey’s degree granting post-secondary institutions, NJ Higher Education is charged with the licensing, approval, and monitoring of public and private colleges and universities.

The Commission for Independent Education has statutory responsibilities in matters relating to nonpublic, postsecondary, educational institutions. In keeping with the Florida Department of Education's goal of producing a seamless educational system, some of these functions include consumer protection, program improvement, institutional policies and administration, data management, and the licensure of independent schools, colleges and universities.
