RN Program Schedules

At Jersey College, we offer day and evening programs to accommodate working professionals. 

Day Program

In the day program, classes are typically scheduled between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm and practicum experiences are typically between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm. The typical theory day incorporates 4.5 to 8.0 hours per day. Classes are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Fridays are typically designated as tutoring, make-up, skills or practice days. Days and times do vary depending on courses undertaken in any term. The program includes 15 months of instruction for the bridge track and 24 months for the generic track.

Evening Program

The evening program classes are typically scheduled between 5:30 pm and 10:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Certain classes are also held on the weekend. Fridays during normal business hours are typically designated as tutoring, make-up, skills or practice days. Days and times do vary depending on courses undertaken in any term. The evening program includes 21 months of instruction for the bridge track and 36 months for the generic track. The evening program is currently available at Tampa and Jacksonville campuses only.

* Classes and practicum experiences are subject to change based on instructor and facility availability. Practicum experiences may occur on different shifts (days, afternoons and evenings). Length of program may vary depending on holidays and vacations. In addition, the time does not include hours required for preparing for the comprehensive evaluation process and NCLEX.
